A clear 15-second merch reveal needs three things: a readable product, a short design story and one working destination. Shoot the individual clips first, then trim them to a simple five-shot sequence.
A 15-second storyboard with exact shot jobs

| Time | Picture | On-screen words |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2 sec | Close-up of an original design detail | “It started with this sketch.” |
| 2–6 sec | Steady, full view of the actual garment | Your design name, if it has one. |
| 6–10 sec | A willing participant wearing the garment | A short, accurate description. |
| 10–13 sec | Return to the detail or original sketch | One sentence explaining its meaning. |
| 13–15 sec | Readable final frame | “Find my merch through the link in my profile.” |
Record each clip longer than its final slot so you have room to trim. Keep the phone orientation consistent and the garment inside the center of the frame. Hold the full product view long enough to read it; a fast transition should not hide the item. Use a plain cut when an effect distracts from the design.
Add accurate captions if you use speech. Keep text away from app interface controls and check it in the intended posting preview. Use audio you are authorized to publish for this purpose; music available in one account or channel may not be cleared for another use. Make any required promotional disclosure clear in the video, not solely in a collapsed caption.
Need help capturing the garment? The phone photography guide includes a real video tutorial and lighting diagram. Finish with one destination and test it before uploading the reveal.
Before you finish
- Watch once with sound off: the story and destination should still make sense.
- Check the full garment and lettering at phone size.
- Verify captions, audio rights and the actual profile link.
